Communicative methods of political image making in mass media are determined in dissertation, the new methods are distinguished from famous ones, classification of communicative methods of political image making in mass media are also proposed. The state and perspectives of communicative methods of influence development in journalism, political consultation, public relations and image science is analyzed. It is separately considered native sources of mass media use communicative methods in order to pay reader's attention to politician or party, public mind formation as well concerning political forces. Special groups of communicative methods on typological characters were examined by means of communicative analysis. Special attention was given to new perspective methods, which have potential to be used effectively in mass media as image-maker source. The aspects of image of "beginning" and PR are highlighted in work as well. In research the two-level classification of communicative methods is evaluated. It is for practical usage in advertising and PR-agencies to form common consciousness of concrete political settings and fixation of politician image or party. The tendencies of ukrainian image development and PR consultation in collaboration context with mass media are traced in research work.
