Manuscript of the dissertation is devoted to social and philosophical analysis of specifics of globalization process in the context of global social development. Globalization is defined as an objective and complicated phenomenon of the present days, the determinants and the sources of the process are investigated. The main theoretical and conceptual heritage of both Ukrainian and foreign scientists formed the basis of the globalization analysis.
