Mokiyenko M. Late Protestantism in Ukraine: institutional and socio-political aspects (1991-2004)

The object of research is a late Protestant communities of baptism, pentecostal, adventism dogma. The aim of research: to define institutional position of the late Protestant movements and degree of their participation in the socio-political process during 1991-2004. The subjec of research: institutional-functional development and socio-political activity of the late Protestants. The methods of research: comparative-historical, retrospective, synchronous, observation and questionnaire design methods. The results of research and novelty: for the first time the complex research of institutional and socio-political aspects of late Protestant movement in Ukraine during 1991-2004 was carried out. Research discovered that movement of late Protestant communities started from transformation of religious centers. It was shown the institutional establishing of educational and evangelism-missionary activity of late Protestants. The participation stages of late Protestants in socio-political sphere was found out, the participation of late Protestant denomination in president campaign 2004 was analyzed. The sphere of usage: subsequent development of subject of research, writing of summarizing labours, train aids, during the reading of courses of history of Ukraine, history of church and religion in Ukraine; in public policy.
