Jehjah S. Development of production technology for anti-inflammatory lipophilic phytocomplex and suppository on its basis

The thesis is devoted to technology development for obtaining of lipophilic complex from rose hips (LCRH) and of alkaloids from Berberis roots by condensed gas extraction of these crude drugs, and also to elaboration of new anti-inflammatory herbal drug in form of rectal suppository containing LCRH. For the first time it has been offered the techniques for standartizing of dog rose hips by main biologically active substance responsible for anti inflammatory activity -galactolipid 1,2- di-octadeca- 9,12,15-trienoyl-galactosylglycerol (DOTGG). In the paper condensed gas (freon) extraction processing of rose hips and Berberis roots has been studied. Production technology of LCRH and purified sum of Berberis alkaloids has been developed. Main quality parameters of obtained batches of substances were evaluated. For the first time in Ukraine composition and technology of anti-inflammatory LCRH containing suppositories "Liporozol" have been developed. The drug provides systemic activity on the same level asreference preparation diclofenac-sodium does. Techniques for qualitative and quantitative analysis of the drug "Liporozol" have been elaborated and tested. These techniques are included into specifications for the product.
