Katunina O. Policy of the Party and the Soviet Government in relation to religious cults of 40 - 60 years of XX century (on the basis of Crimea)

The object of research is a policy of the state in relation to the religious cults of Crimea in the period of 40-60 years of XX century. The aim of research: to define the pressure of the Party and the state authority in relation to the religious cults, which were used on the territory of Crimea in 40-60 years of XX century. The subjec of research: forms and methods of activity of the Party and the state authority in the period of fight with the religious cults. The methods of research: chronological, synchronous, diachronic, statistical. The results of research and novelty: the activity of the religious cults on the territory of the peninsula in 40-60 years of XX century are analyzed in detail. Forms and methods, which were used by the Party and state authority in the fight with the religious communities, were fundamentally determined. Such aspects of the antireligious policy as criminal prosecution, taxation of the faithful and religious organizations, atheistic issues in press are analyzed. The reasons of religious underground forming in conditions of totalitarian regime were examined. The sphere of usage: subsequent development of subject of research, writing of summarizing labours, train aids, during the reading of courses of history of Ukraine, history of church and religion in Ukraine; in public policy.
