Gorburov K. Famine in the South of UkrSSR in 1946-1947

The object of research is a population of south-west region of UkrSSR. The aim of research: to reveal beginnings, causes, characteristics and consequences of post-war famine, to define general tendencies and regional characteristics of this tragic process on the territory of the Southern Ukraine. The Subjec of research: post-war famine 1946-1947 on the territory of south-west part of UkrSSR.The methods of research: method system analysis, statistic, structure functional, chronological. The results of research and novelty: it is a proven fact that the main reasons of the famine were excessive grain procurements, strict regulation of the work of collective and state farms, and on the whole, anti-villager policy of regime. For the first time the population losses of the southern regions are investigated. Economic and social consequences of post-war famine are shown. The regional peculiarities of the famine of 1946-1947 in the south of UkrSSR are analyzed. The sphere of usage: subsequent development of subject of research, writing of summarizing labours, train aids, during reading of courses of history of Ukraine, history of the Southern Ukraine.
