Essay

The dissertation thesis is devoted to study of the structure of testis in norm and investigation of the epididymo-orchitis and hydrocele influence on the morpho-functional state of the blood vessels, hemo-microcirculatory bed, parenchyma of testes, and epididymal lumen. Investigation determined that orchitis and hydrocele resulted into decrease of testicular volume, diameter of convolute seminiferous tubules, volume of Leydig cells. Obvious total loss of spermatogenic epithelium cells, deformation and dense location of microcirculatory bed, destructive changes in hemato-testicular barrier. In interstitium appear leucocytes’ infiltration, connective tissue growth. Diameter of epididymal lumen and height of epithelium in it grew lower. Ejaculate index impaired. After 90 days experimental orchitis in rats leads to irreversible structural-functional changes in micro-circulatory bed and convolute seminiferous tubules.
