Bobkova O. Administrative and cultural-enlightening activiti of A. Y. Fabr in the South of Ukraine (the 30s - the first half of 60s XIX centry)

The object of the thesis is administrative and cultural-enlightening activiti of A. Y. Fabr. The methods of the research are those of analis, sintes, deductive, inductive, logical, historical-comprative, biographi, biohistoriography, system-historical, synchronous. The dissertation is the first complex work in which on the bassis of the large corps of archival materials and a thorough study of the historiography of the problem a qualitative analysis of all the lines of the activity of A. Y. Fabr. A. Y. Fabr's activity on the posts of the qubernia's procurator, the ruler of office of the Novorossiyskiy and Bessarabskiy general-governor, Yekaterinoslavskiy civil governor, the member of Tavricheskiy gubernia's presence in peasamt business is examined. . A. Y. Fabr's contribution into the formation of area-history traditions in the region was studied, his activity in the sphere of the foundation of first museums in the South of Ukraine was analysed. The history of one of the largest charity establishmentsof Simferopol - Orphans' House of the secret adviser Fabr - is thoroughly examined. The sphere of application is educational activities.
