Object: public-political activity I. Krypyakevych in the years of Liberation competitions of the first quarter of the ХХ item, his creative inheritance from military history of Ukraine. Methods: analysis and synthesis, descriptive, structural-chronologic, systematization and generalization. Results: In this thesis it is analyzed I.Krypyakevych’s military and historical works, as an author of conception and leader of "History of the Ukrainian army" first in national historiography. Use: theory and practice.
