Krytsa Y. Immune status and its correction at the horses of Purebred Saddle and Ukrainian Saddle breeds

The dissertation is devoted to the research of viability and immune status and its correction with rybotan and cycloferon at the horses of Purebred Saddle and Ukrainian Saddle breeds. The data on influence of age and breed on hematological and immunological parameters of organism of the horses of Purebred Saddle and Ukrainian Saddle breeds are received. The low level of immune reactivity at foals in early postnatal period of life is defined which resulted in the reduced functional activity of immune system as a whole and its cellular link in particular. Examining the mature herd of the horses the sexual differences of morphological structure of blood and immune status are recorded. The increase of leukocytes number ane to the increase of a lymphocytes subpopulation at foals under rybotan influence is determined. Application of cycloferon has led to the increase of monocites content (raising level of phagocitosis). The influence of rybotan and cycloferon has positively affected the cellular and functional activity of immunity Т-system. Studying humoral immunity the raising of cellular activity of immunity B-link (B-lymphocytes number) with application of rybotan and the rise of functional activity (CIC level) under the action of cycloferon are determined. The beneficial effect of rybotan on live-weight of foals (on the average of 5,5 %) and young animals safety is determined.
