Shandra I. South Russia Mining manufacturers' Congresses in the system of the state and public institutions (1874 - 1918)

In the dissertation on the basis of the numerous sources and scientific literature the role of the representative organization of manufacturers in the South economic area that was called South Russia Mining manufacturers' Congresses in the system of the state machinery and public institutions was researched in a complex way. The reasons and conditions of manufacturer's corporation forming, its functions and peculiarities were considered. The stages of congress organization development, the main components of its structure were specified. The characteristics of the governing bodies (The Congress Council, The Bureau of representatives and The Committee of the delegates), the territorial representative committees, numerous special institutions within the South Russia Mining manufacturers' Congresses proves the adequacy of organization forming due to intensive capitalistic development of the after reform period, the effectiveness of its coordination with government institutions and public organizations. The variety of the work directions and effectiveness of the chosen influence methods at the authorities determined the great significance of the South Russia Mining manufacturers' Congresses as the representative of the regional manufacturers that promoted the formation of the Donetsk - Prydniprovsk area as the energetic and metallurgical state base.
