The dissertation is devoted to investigation of distinctive features of development of teacher attestation management competence in managers of educational organizations. The work contains a theoretical substantiation, methods and the empirical research findings. The investigation reveals the subject of teacher attestation, its role in the organization's performance as well as psychological aspects of attestation management. The author also considers the contents and structure of educational organization head's attestation management competence. Levels of development of the overall respondents' attestation management competence and its specific components (motivational, cognitive, operational, and personal) have been analyzed. The researcher has investigated correlations between levels of development of the competence in question and the respondents' organizational, professional, and socio-demographic characteristics. Psychological conditions of development of the teacher attestation management competence in heads of educational organizations have been determined.
