Plahtiy M. Logic in Ukraine in the second half of XIX - in the beginning of XX century: directions of development .

The thesis is devoted to the research of the history of logic in Ukraine in the second half of ХІХ - in beginning of XX century. The research of features of the scientific works by Ukrainian scholars in logic, studying of the definitions of logic as a science, its subject, and also a ratio of logic with philosophy, psychology, mathematics and others sciences are analyzed. In the result of the analysis two bases for the classification of the history of logic in Ukraine are suggested according to the territory situation (Kyiv, Odessa, Kharkiv, West-Ukrainian schools), to the directions, which scientists supported: traditional (P.Yurkevych, I.Prodan, S.Ostroumov, T.Mandybur, G.Chelpanov), mathematical (F.Kozlovsky, I.Sleshynsky, S.Shatunovsky, E.Bunitsky, S.Baley), metaphysical (O.Novytsky, P.Linytsky, S.Gogotsky, J.Mihnevych, G.Kostelnyk), psychological (N.Grot, N.Lange, I.Kopach).
