Essay

In a dissertation deals with investigations encompassing organ and tissue levels, particularities of blood vessel structure of placenta during various stages of placental insufficiency, and also the character of restructuring of dividing of lung arteries of fetus and deceased newborns during its pathology. During specifications of the main morphological signs of placental insufficiency, it has been discovered the structure and placement of various arteries during different stages of placental insufficiency. It has been discovered that placental insufficiency leads to a restructuring of placental blood vessels and also hemodynamic properties of pulmonary circulation of fetus, which manifest as an intensification of the resistance of pulmonary arteries, whose aim is to maintain an adequate amount of blood flow. The author provided quantitative characteristics of spacial reorganization of placental and pulmonary blood vessels and established morphometrical particularities of reconstruction of those vessels. The author proved that the intensity on structural changes in pulmonary vessels depends on the level of placental insufficiency. The quantitative data and integrative correlation between morphological structures of pulmonary blood vessels and vessels of placenta were found with pathological changes. Signs of damage and structural adaptations of pulmonary vessels were also characterized according to different stages of pulmonary insufficiency.
