Lugansk population is genetically subdivided by nationality, by the birth-place and profession . For studied period isolation by distance went down in 2.5 time in Lugansk population. In 2001-2003 1.8% children are registered with congenital anomalies. Congenital malformations are 14.9 : 1 000 new-born, multiply congenital malformations - 3.0 : 1 000 new-born, chromosomal illnesses - 1.7 : 1 000.
