The object is Process of mechanical and electromechanical transformation of energy in a traction drive with axle sprung induction traction motor. Development of scientific bases of designing wheel-motor blocks. Numerical modeling, finite element method, virtual modeling. The mathematical model of electromechanical energy transformation is developed; opportunity of application of axle-sprung induction traction motor is proved at speed up to 160 km/h. Presence of phase currents oscillation is established; determining influence of wheel-motor block vertical oscillation on dynamic processesin a traction drive is established. Electric locomotive building.
