Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the Ukrainian-Russian relations in theoretical and practical activity of the NRU for the period of 1989 - 1998. It analyses of the HRU program of the Ukrainian - Russian relations, its genesis and contents. There is elucidated the NRU political influence to formation of Ukrainian - Russian relations in the process of state construction in Ukraine. For the first time in historical science the author presents the historiography of the Ukrainian - Russian relations in the context of the NRU political activity and determines the methodical approaches to the formation of foreign security directions in the context of relations with Russia.
