Sapitskaya O. Country women of Ukraine in the period of preparation and realization of the total collectivization (1928 - middle of the 1933)

The women's and men's labor utilization from the point of view of the showing up the surplus of the labour force under consideration of this period in the farms with different directions at the base of the insufficiently known tables, which was made under the data of the sampling in autumn 1930 in Ukraine and taking into consideration the division tax category into social groups are analyzed. The peculiarities and level of the coaxing women into the managerial and important posts in Ukrainian agriculture are elucidated. The peculiarities and the level of the Ukrainian country women's vocational training are considered. The motives of the country women's work as the agricultural machine-operators are analyzed, the conditions of their work and measures by protection of women's labour in agriculture of Ukraine in the period of mass collectivization are considered. The level of medical care of the pregnant country women is elucidated. The problem of abortions and the reasons of it's increasing in the county size of Ukraine in 1928-middle of 1933 is investigated. The participation of the country women of Ukraine in the militarized, military-auxiliaries study groups and their practical activity by strengthening of the defence of the USSR in the period of the collectivization is enlightened. All-Union tendencies by attracting and using the peasant women's labour in the collectivized agriculture of Ukraine are determined. The dimensions of the peasants' resistance movement against the soviet policy of the total collectivization and women's participation in it are investigated.
