Klochko R. Social-geographical analysis of the geopolitical position of Ukraine in present day Europe

Dissertation is dedicated to the investigation of social-geographical position of Ukraine as an important category when defining foreign policy priorities of the state. Geographical essence of geopolicy is considered, the analysis of its scientific relation to social geography has been given, social-geographical aproaches and methods of investigation of geopolitical position of the state have been suggested. Key geographical factors have been singled out which have influence on the formation of geopolitical, spatial, social-geographical, natural-geographical. Specific examples of every factor's influence have been shown. The present-day geopolitical position of Ukraine in modern Europe on different taxonomical levels have been analysed. The ways to improve geopolitical position of Ukraine have been suggested.
