Essay

Object of investigations - bacterial etiology gastrointestinal diseases of calves and piglets. Purpose of work - to study enterbacteria and Pseudomonas aeruginosa etiology spectrum and role to gastrointestinal diseases and to perfect treatment-prophylaxis actions with antibacterial and immunostimulated treatment utilization. Methods of investigation - epizootological, bacteriological, virological, serological, immune, haematic, statistical. Novelty - the species spectrum of bacteria that play an important role in etiology of gastrointestinal diseases of calves and piglets in Luhansk region farms was determinate. It was stated that the most widely spread pathogens are Escherichia сoli, Klebsiella рneumoniae, Proteus mirabilis, Proteus vulgaris, representatives of genera Citrobacter, Enterobacter and Pseudomonas аeruginosa. The considerable difference between antibioticogrammes of isolators that were in combined parasitocenoses was stated. The immunostimulator KAFI influence for gastrointestinal diseasesof calves and piglets caused by enterbacteria and P. aeruginosa in Luhansk region conditions was stated. The KAFI influence on haematic, immune indexes by K. pneumoniae culture hyperimmunization of rabbits with receive aim of diagnostic serum was determined. Practical results - the methodic recommendations "The laboratorial diagnostics of young farm animals' gastrointestinal diseases caused by conditionally pathogenic enterbacteria" have been developed by research materials. The immunostimulated effect of KAFI preparation was utilized by hyperimmunization scheme of rabbits for diagnostic sera receive. The received results are used for veterinary microbiology courses teaching at the Luhansk and Sumy National Agrarian University, Poltava State Agrarian Academy. Sphere of use - veterinary medicine.
