Boyko O. The counteraction of the Orthodox Church and society against antireligious attack of the State in the 20 - 30-th of XX cen. (on materials of the South Ukraine)

The object is the Orthodoxy as a factor of public, political and cultural life in Soviet Ukraine in the 1920-th - 30-th. The aim - complex research of the counteraction of the Orthodox Church and society against antireligious policy of the State in the South Ukraine in the 1920-th - 30-th on a ground of the mutual relations of the State, Church and society. Methods - historical-genetic, historical-typological, historical-comparative, synchronous, mathematical statistics. Reasons of the resistance of the Church and society against atheistic attack of the State are analized. The social base of the resistance and the dynamics of social protection of the Orthodoxy are characterized. Ways, forms, methods and nature of the struggle of clergy and faithful people are determined. Consequences of the resistance in preservation of the Orthodox tradition in Ukraine are recognized. Application sphere is education.
