The dissertation summarizes the research of the artistic features, traditions and innovation of the professional weaving in Lviv in the second half of the ХХ th century. The Lviv art weaving is the Ukrainian decorative and applied art component considered in its context. The aim of the thesis is studying the Lviv main art weaving tendencies. The object of the research is textile works, created by the Lviv art masters. The work is limited by the interior textile investigation. The cultural artistic processes influenced the Ukrainian decorative and applied art are being shown in the work, too.
