Mechanisms and peculiarities of vegetative, somatic functions and mental capacity at the students of various specialities were explored in the work. It is shown that the gender features of physical development at the students of various specialities are characterized by the rapider rate of the biological ripening at girls, although the absolute indexes of physical development are higher at youths. Dynamics of the vegetative nervous system state at the students of various specialities is characterized by the increase of sympathetic tone and increased disorder in activity of the visceral systems during an educational year. As the features of mental capacity at students are forming of psychophysiological organization of the perception system and processing of information depending on their speciality education. The functions of attention, main memory and operating thought are found to be the system forming factors of mental capacity. The analysis of anthropometric indexes and indexes of vegetative tone and mental capacity among the students of various specialities testifies to the changes in structure of intersystem communications during an educational year. The orientation of changes in intersystem communications depends on speciality of students.
