Essay

The preparation and realization of the Second Winter Campaign and a nation-wide anti-Bolsheviks rebel were investigated on bases of wide range of archival materials and literature. It is examined a partisan-rebellion headquarter staff, formation of its insurgent net in USSR, reconnaissance and counterespionage activities, cooperation with representatives of Poland, Romania, France and other military groups (of B. Savinkov, P. Vrangel, P. Skoropadsky), working out plans of the Second Winter Campaign realization. It is analyzed an insurgent struggle of Petliura in 1921 and revealed actions of state security agencies for its suppression. It is depicted a course of the Second Winter Campaign (insurgent groups in Podil, Volyn, Bessarabia). It is analyzed main reasons of its failure and influence on braising of the liberation movement.
