Khomenko O. Studio of art literature in the formation of communal identity of Ukrainians of the first third of the ХІХ century

For the first time this dissertation studied art literature in forming communal identity of Ukrainians of the first third of the ХІХ century by analyzing the historiographical literature and attracting scientific use of complex sources systematically and comprehensively. The discursive practices have been analyzed, the result of which studio of art literature had become not only the leading direction of Ukrainian studies development of that time, but also made a significant contribution to the deployment process of national mobilization of Ukrainians, predetermined formation a new system of ideas about Ukrainian identity, and the creation of a new image of Ukrainian space when the limits are not determined by imperial or confessional boundaries, but by habitat and distribution of living vernacular language and literature which is common to the whole ethnos.
