Object: process of student’s socialization by mass media; Aim: to generalize the theoretical positions about possibilities of mass-media as the socializative institute in the student's environment; to prove and check up the efficiency of the determined pedagogical bases of student's socialization by mass media experimentally; Methods: analysis of literature, theoretical generalization, supervision, questioning, experiment; Novelty: at first time it is theoretically proved and experimentally confirmed efficiency of pedagogical bases of student's socialization by mass media; Results: a course “Mass media and the Present”, the program of club of non-staff correspondents student's mass media, the program of seminars for curators, teachers are inculcated; Field – social pedagogics.
