Kobera A. Organizational and Psychological determinants of leadership in the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine

In the thesis research theoretical and applied aspects of leadership in the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine. Have been examined the existing theories of leadership conceptions especially the leadership in the law enforcement agencies of Ukraine and police organizations of foreign countries have been analysed. It has been determined that the condition for effective activity of militia detachment is fulfilling the role of the leader of the collective body by the manager, the notion "managing leader of law enforcement agencies" has been introduced. Subjective and objective determinants of leadership in the law enforcement agencies have been fixed. The integrational model of the body leader has been worked out on the basis of professionally important qualities of managing leader of the law enforcement agencies psycho-diagnostic complex and the criteria of professional psychological choice and professional psychological training of the heads of law enforcement agencies. A complex training of developingleadership potential has been worked out.
