Essay

Public and Political Activity of Semen Vityk is explored. The factors which influenced the formation of his political views are analysed. Activities of Semen Vityk as an active organizer and a participant of the working and peasant movements which took place in East Galicia are explored. Party work of Semen Vityk in Russian-Ukrainian radical party and his activity at the sources of Ukrainian social democratic party are explored. Parliamentary activity of Semen Vityk and his work during the period of Ukrainian Revolution (1917-1920) the explored. The soviet period of S.Vityk's activity is also analysed. A significant contribution of S.Vityk in the process of creation of the state is also analysed.
