In the dissertation on the basis of sources and the scientific literature the history of class corporate nobility bodies of Volyn province is investigated. In four chapters of this work the membership and structure of nobility assembly, its function, rights, privileges and participation of its members in the authority system are considered. Process of transition of gentry authorities - Seymik - in nobility assembly of the Russian sample is investigated. Despite of some external similarity, there was a cardinal difference between them. A complete dependence of assembly of absolute authority of the monarch and weak participation in management of state affairs was obvious. While the Polish Seymik solved not only local, but nation-wide problems as well.
