Essay

Scientific-methodical approach for vaginal medicinal forms creation, which contains natural substances, has been developed, and expediency of combined suppositories creation on the basis of phenolic hydrophobic drug of propolis and oil Hippophae for the application in treatment of inflammatory gynecologic diseases has been proved. The influence of auxiliary substances on the structural and mechanical properties of suppositories and release of active substances from them has been determined. The physical-chemical properties of suggested preparation, its stability, specific activity and harmlessness have been studied. On the basis of physical-chemical, biopharmaceutical, rheological and biological studies, the composition has been theoretically and experimentally grounded, and rational technology of suppositories under the cod name "Femiprolenum" with antimicrobial, reparative and anti-inflammatory action has been developed.
