Demenko A. Phenomenon of terrorism in the conditions of the globalized dynamics (social and philosophical analysis)

The object of research is terrorism as social phenomenon. The purpose is to define the peculiarities of determination, leading tendencies and dominant forms of this phenomenon and to determine the contents and the main structure of the multilevel system of resistance to terrorism. The methods of research combine the complex of philosophical, scientific and special methods, which provide the unity of social and phi-losophical analysis. The main results include the author's definition of terrorism and the set of features which shape and express the essence of terrorism; the author also proves that ethnic, national and religious forms of terrorism are dominant forms of terrorism under the condition of modern society transformation and grounds the main directions of development of the system of counter-terrorist activity under the conditions of globalization.
