Telpis V. The porous pipe backwash removal system of rapid filters

The dissertation is devoted to an actual problem of increase of an overall performance of rapid filters by perfection of a backwash removal system. It is shown expediency to investigate use of porous backwash removal designs of rapid filters on the basis of which new designs are developed. The approximated mathematical models of a porous gathering pipe in conditions pressure and gravity modes which work with the variable charge longwise are developed. It has allowed creating the approached engineering techniques of their hydraulic calculation. Laboratory researches of porous pipes in conditions pressure and gravity modes have confirmed that the developed approximated mathematical models of their work and a design procedure are authentic.
