Thesis is dedicated to an increase in the effectiveness in the use of freight railroad cars. Is for this purpose proposed the method for the optimum planning of transportation with the use of foreign owners cars and railroad cars of inventory park, which considers the technological and economic special features of the rolling stock operation. For predict-ing the time parameters of motion the model of flow graphs with the fuzzy arcs is devel-oped and the method of convoluting the graph in the equivalent arc is proposed. For the adaptation of model to the changing conditions of transportation the methods of con-structing the knowledge base and search for the solution, when messages and conclu-sions of deduction rules are both the scalar or fuzzy values and fuzzy graphs are devel-oped. The models and the methods are used in the automated system of operational mak-ing of decisions about the following loading of foreign owners cars.
