Sobkevitch O. Development of the Ukrainian stock market, as a factor of increasing the economic security of the State

This research is dedicated to the scientific substantiation of approaches towards revealing, classification and diagnostics of threats to stock market development. Countermeasures to their negative impact are worked out and perspectives of further development of the Ukrainian stock market are outlined with the purpose of increasing the country’s level of economic security. The conditions and economic parameters of the Ukrainian stock market are examined and the impact of factors on the stock market development parameters is analysed. Threats to the development of the Ukrainian stock market are defined and categorized and a scientific substantiation of their functioning mechanism is carried out. A methodology for the level of the stock market security of operation assessment is devised. Complex of measures is proposed, aimed at neutralization of the threats to the development of the Ukrainian stock market and perspectives of increasing the presence of Ukrainian companies on the world stock market are outlined.
