Popov D. Improving ecological characteristics of automobiles with neutralizers at use of petrol with bioethanol additive.

The dissertation is devoted to the research of using bioethanol as an additive to regular petrol in engines with injection and a catalyst neutralizers. The experimental characteristics which define the engine under investigation as a source of energy, harmful emissions and a fuel expense are obtained and the fuel consumption by automobile with the engine С30NE is defined at driving according to the modes of the European City and Country Drive Cycles. The mathematical model of automobile motion by the modes of the European City and Country Drive Cycles for research of ecological and economic characteristics of the petrol engine with injection and a catalyst neutralizers using petrol with bioethanol additive is improved. The theoretical research with mathematical model of the effect of the bioethanol additive to petrol on the ecological characteristics and fuel efficiency of the engine are carried out by drive cycles and in conditions of intensive acceleration. The technical possibility and economic efficiency of using petrol with 22% bioethanol additive is proved.
