Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to social-philosophical research of man's freedom and his world perception. It defines the content and the peculiarity of freedom as many-sided complex social phenomenon. The understanding of freedom proves to be the phenomenon of man's world perception. The author shows that the world perception of man's freedom is performed through mastering and socializing. Mastering is considered to be interiorizing process of the surrounding world where the image of freedom is formed in the context of inner spiritual man's world. Socializing is the process of making a biological individual into a social being, mature personality, a freedom conscious object. The work postulates the thought of formation of man's freedom perception through 4 levels: "personal" (specified by man's body organization, his incomes and psychology), "interpersonal" (focuses on relation "man-society"), "institutional" (characterized by man's interaction with social institutions), "political" (identified with power and legal field).
