Essay

Object: Ukrainian national-liberation movement on Zhytomyr oblast in the period of German-Soviet war and post-war years. Aim: realization of analysis of regional features of Ukrainian national-liberation movement on Zhytomyr oblast during 1941–1955. Methods: comparative-historical, system-structural, divisions into periods, systematization and generalization. Results: first in domestic historiography the careful and comprehensive analysis of activity of OUN and UPA is carried out in the territorial limits of one oblast, it is proved that on Zhytomyr oblast the figures of OUN were striven against the nazi and communist regimes for independence of Ukraine. Sphere of the use: scientific, educational.
