Dissertation research is dedicated to the problems of formation in the senior children of preschool age of the value-oriented attitude to native land. It has been analysed the nature and the state of the broken problem in a pedagogical theory and practice. It has been proved the necessity and expedience of the active bringing in of elements of ethnic culture in quality of ways of formation of the value-oriented attitude to native land. It has been indicated the pedagogical potential of several elements of hutsul ethnic culture for their complex use in an educational process of children’s educational institutions of Hutsul ethnic neighbourhood. It has been determined indexes manifestation and levels of formation of the valued attitude to native land in the children 5-6 years of age. It has been offered pedagogical conditions, directions and stages of formation in the senior children of preschool age of the value-oriented attitude to native land. It has been well-grounded in theory and experimentally audited the structural-functional model of the formation of value-oriented attitude to native land in conditions of children’s educational institutions of Hutsul ethnic neighbourhood. By experimental way it has been proved the effectiveness of bringing in the educational process of elements of ethnic culture in the quality of the ways of the formation of value-oriented attitude to native land.
