Object - acute hematogenic osteomyelitis (AHO) in children; aim - improvement of treatment results with AHO on the basis of diagnostic improvement, optimization of preoperative preparation, development of more efficient methods of intramedullary canal drainage, early rehabilitation; methods - history taking, result of the objective investigation, clinical laboratory studies, immunologic, instrumental, microbiologic, laboratory, morphologic and statistic; newelty - The peculiarities course of AHOP depending on the stage and prevalence of the disease have been studied. The prevailing etiologic factor of AHO has been investigated. The optimal diagnostic complex of AHO in children including ultrasound has been worked out and introduced into practice. Methods of drainage, surgical sanation, local treatment of pathologic focus Of AHO and instruments for their performing have been improved. The scheme of early children’s rehabilitation suffering from AHO taking into account age, etiologic factors and severityof AHO course has been worked out and introduced for the first time; results - significance of the received results. Introduction of the developed methods of drainage and drug introduction into focus of involvement to patients with AHO on the basis of the performed analysis of remote results of treatment has lead to reduction in number of complications in 5,1%; Decrease in terms of staying at hospital with different types of AHO in 3,1 hospital days has been reached by means of application of the developed scheme of individual correction of endotoxicosis depending on the stage and terms of the disease and application of medical complex at the early period of rehabilitation;Introduced - in medical practice, in educational process; branch - medicine.
