Leshko O. Protestant communities of Zakarpattya of the period of 1945 – 1991.

The thesis is devoted to the problem of research and analysis of religious life of Zakarpattya Protestant communities of the period of 1945 – 1991, processes of their structuring and evolution in the conditions of the Soviet system. The state legislative acts, governmental, party decisions, protocol decisions, directive–management and instructive–regulative documents of central and local bodies of executive power as a source of formation of the Soviet confessive politics have been analysed in the research on the base of unpublished archives sources of the State archive of the Transcarpathian oblast as well as on the base of published documents of legislation about religious cults and magazine of Union of Churches of evangelistic Christians–Baptists called «Herald of Truth». The regulation and inner–church processes in the Protestant communities of the region have been considered. The peculiarities of their national, confessive identity and state of inter–confessive relations have been defined.
