Diachenko G. Symbol in N. Berdyaev's philosophical discourse: linguacognitive aspect

Dissertation is devoted to analysis of linguistic-cognitive characteristics of a symbol in N. Berdyaev's philosophical discourse. A complete representation of a symbol from the perspective of cognitive linguistics expands the research analysis of the relationship between language and consciousness. In the research project, the concepts "universal existential-semantic symbolicon", "symbolical level of lingual personality", "existential-gnosiological competence" are introduced. By means of computer software, the researcher has created a vocabulary N. Berdyaev's frequently used terms, maps of symbols in his texts, rhythm of symbols and their compatibility with each other. The linguistic cognitive mechanisms of the symbolical dialectics of N. Berdyaev (antithesis, cycle, aphorism, rhythm) are concretized.
