Shaparenko O. Forming Civic Consciousness in Conditions of Sociocultural Transformations in Ukrainian Society

TThe object of the research is Ukrainian society on the way of building up civic society. The aim is to work out the pecu-liarities and factors of forming civic consciousness in the process of education in conditions of sociocultural transfor-mations of Ukrainian society. The theoretical and methodo-logical basis for the research are historical, system, inte-grated, complex and sociocultural approaches. The methods of investigation are dialectical one, analytical review of so-ciological questionnaires and experts assessments, elements of comparative analysis. The main results lay in maintaining social and philosophical analysis of civic consciousness in modern conditions of sociocultural transformations in Ukraine. On the basis of this analysis the essence of this no-tion has been determined; its constituent parts, which charac-terize it in conditions of global dynamics, have been worked out; the concept basics for forming civic consciousness in the process of education have been offered.
