Levchuk M. Opening Moral-Ethics Problems in the Columns of Volyn Orthodox Church Press (1867-2006)

The manuscript, in which the moral-ethics problems in Volyn Orthodox Church press are investigated in Ukrainian journalism studies for the first time, is defended. In the dissertation the conceptions of subject spectrum are studied, moral-ethics problems of Volyn Orthodox press are opened. Church publications, which were published in Volyn at the and of XIX - at the beginning of XXI centuries, and their cultural-historical background are analysed. The problems of publications of Volyn Orthodox Church press are investigated. The aspects of opening moral-ethics problems in Volyn Orthodox press are defined: moral-social, church-theological, church-historical and the problems of local lore, ethics, moral-domestic, moral-philosophical, literary-art historical problems. Genre specific features of church publications are revealed. The place of Volyn Orthodox Church press in the system of religious mass-media of Ukraine is defined.
