In the given scientific work the German loans in Hungarian dialects of Transcarpathia are presented for the first time in the semantic, etymological, word-formative, sociolinguistic and lingua-geographical aspect. The phonetic assimilation and morphological adaptation of German Loans by Hungarian dialects of Transcarpathia are described as well. On the basis of the held investigation „Atlas of Lexical German loan-words and their correspondents in Hungarian dialects of Trancarpathia” has been compiled.
