Netreba A. Creation of a new initial material of corn on the basis of lines, contrast on duration of the vegetative period in conditions of an irrigation of southern Steppe of Ukraine

Object – selection of new initial material and hybrids of corn. The purpose – Creation of new hybrid and initial material of corn. Methods – field, laboratory, definition of metrical attributes of plant and structures productivity, mathematic-statistical. Results – the level of variability of economic-valuable attributes is revealed at different-vector selection on groups of ripeness in generation self-pollination S1-S5 depending on an initial hybrid combination. It is identified among self-pollinated populations elite families and lines with a complex of economic-valuable attributes. Efficiency of use of a method creation of new initial material is proved on the basis of corn lines, contrast between group of a maturity and a different genetic origin in conditions of an irrigation of southern Steppe of Ukraine. Creation of new methodist new hybrid of corn Berislav. New genetic resources of value quantitative indices were created and the perspective of their application inthe synthetic selection was showed.
