Essay

The thesis addresses problems of defining myocardial remodeling parameters, dignosing heart chemical consitution pathologies induced by sub-chronic effects of certain salt compunds in young, adult and old rats and treating identified pathologies. It has been found that certain heavy metal salt compounds brings about structural and metabolic remodelling of ventricular myocardial tissue, cavity dilatation and heavy metal accumulations in cardiac tissue. Application of Thiotriazoline helps reduce adverse impact of heavy metals on subject animals of all the age group.
