Essay

The dissertation deals with a study of the forming and topographoanatomical interrelations of the esophagus during the prenatal period of human ontogenesis. 138 human embryos, prefetuses and fetuses have been studied by means of adequate morphological methods. For the first time the dynamics of the form – building of the esophagus and its spatial – temporal interrelations have been traced during an early stage human ontogenesis. A variability of the architectonics and the forming of the esophageal nerve plexus has been revealed. Critical periods of the intrauterine development of the esophagus have been established.
