In this dissertation complex research of the evolutional process of the family in the context of the everyday life of the Donbass on the turning point of the XX - XXІ centuries is performed. With the help of the learning of different sources fundamental alternative changes in the marriage and living standard of the family is determined. These important ingredients of the everyday life are determined the further character of the family development in the Donbass.On the background of Donbass the researching processes were more expressive and reflected clearer general Ukrainian dimen-sion of the character of its development. The family on this territory approached to the west European type of organiza-tion.
