Muntyan O. The Russian medical vocabulary (the names of illnesses and human ailments) in the language of initial period of forming of Russian nation

The object of research: Russian medical vocabulary of primary period of forming Russian nation. The article of research is a thematic group "the names of illnesses and human ailment". Research purpose - to analyse a thematic group "the names of illnesses and human ailment" as a system which functioned in dictionary composition of Russian of primary period of forming Russian nation, to define general and specific features in changing of semantic structure of terms which enter to the complement of analysable thematic group. Research methods are descriptive, comparative-historical methods, elements of component analysis, which are realized by classification, linguistic supervision, lexicological comparison, etymologic reconstruction, historical-language generalization and statistics. Research results and novelty: first in Russian linguistics the detailed analysis was carried out in semasiological, genetic, functional and derivative aspects of thematic group "the names of illnesses and human illnesses"; certainly composition of thematic group "the names of illnesses and human illnesses" in Russian of XVII - XVIII centereries; was defined the origin of analysable terms; was carrid out structurally word-formation features of medical vocabulary in Russian of the noted period; was considered specific leksical-semantical processes were characterized which accompanied education and functioning of medical terms in Russian of the XVII - XVIII centereries. The sphere of using the materials and research results can find application in teaching of courses from history of Russian, historical and comparative grammar of east slavic languages, Russian dialectology, modern literary Russian, in higher educational establishments.
