Galchenko O. The physical culture and sports movement in Donbass (1917-1930s).

The dissertation is devoted to a complex research of sports movement in Donbass during 1917-1930s. The premises of existence of this phenomenon in Donbass before begin of investigation period are determined. Two stages of its development are singled out and observed within the considered period. The state in the sphere of sport in the pe-riod of Ukrainian national revolution 1917-1920s is de-scribed. Start conditions and first steps of soviet transforma-tions are determined. The process of the formation of sports branch during 1921-1930s is systematically analyzed. Man-agement, organization, theoretical and methodological, the states human resources, material and technical aspects of problem are examined. Regional peculiarities of sports movement within physical training spreading in educational establishments of the region are examined as well as on the rural territory. The place and state of sports sector in regional branch process are determined in the light of republican, Union and international competitive processes.
